Introduction

"It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity".
would quote Albert Einstein. However, we're living in a stage where the need of communication hasn't been extincted but on the contrary, encouraged due to the increase in the social interaction. The SpringBlogFestival is therefore a useful intensive webinar for those who feel that a blog is not that off hand and it could help them grow both personally and professionally.

How would you compare writing on a blog to other social networks and social interactions?

They all share the same stage, which is the Internet, the same tools, the technical device. On the other hand, they are all subjected to the same rigorous legal aspects of computing, internet laws. From then on, although the blogger acts individually, as a platform and display of information would become a source of connectivity with everyone else interested, previously promoted or shared on those networks. Within a blog the user can add other members who can or not interact with one another. And the blog is in the end the continent of resources that can hold important information for someone, leaving comments on the blog for example. The transparency based on verification, will allow civil society to handle open-ended discourses.

  3. I think writing on a blog may require longer pieces of writing, or writing more reflectively. It's more about sharing what's on your heart, in a way. Maybe in other social media, you share more spontaneous things, or shorter pieces of news about yourself or about your interests.

  4. To me posting on social media is more formal than writing on a blog.
My blogs are mostly about my interests and thoughts.
